[Standards · National] Guiding document on agent identity management formally initiated
At the 2026 Inclusion Bund Summit, a national standardization guiding technical document on blockchain and distributed ledger technology for agent identity management, driven by Ant Digital Technologies with a dozen-plus organizations, was formally initiated. It is the first systematic proposal of a blockchain-based agent identity management model, covering overall architecture, identity identifiers, identity establishment, verification mechanisms, cross-chain interoperation and interface specifications, providing national-level guidance for designing, developing and deploying agent identity systems. Why it matters: identity is a precondition for agents to enter enterprise processes and transaction scenarios, marking the formal start of standardization for agent identity management in China.
